About our church:

In January of 2006, Pastor Joe Vassak (Northeast Baptist Church  Danbury, CT) was visiting in the Bronx a mother of a young man that he had won to Christ at a Juevenile Detention Center in upstate New York.  Brother Vassak invited Pastor Baker to accompany him on this visit.  As Brother Vassak won Wanda Rodriguez to Christ, God began to work in the heart of Brother Ken and it was clear that God was calling him to New York City.

That next Saturday, Brother Ken drove back to the Bronx from Danbury, CT and won five people to Christ.  That next Sunday, he drove back to the Bronx, and picked up 2 of those young men and brought them to the Northeast Baptist Church.




Over the past three years, God has blessed this ministry tremendously.  Hundreds of people have been saved and baptized and many have had their lives changed. 

"The Victory Baptist Church was started on April 25, 2010 and many memories were made. God has blessed tremendously as many people have come to know the Lord, and many have strengthened their walk with Him as a result of this church. You will find our church to be very friendly, and you will be warmly welcomed no matter what walk of life you come from, and no matter what may be your background.  You will find our services to be very exciting. uplifting, practical, helpful. Our music will not remind you of a funeral, nor will it remind you of a rock concert.
